6th Grade Graduation

My Haylie is on her way to junior high school. Holy Crap! how did that happen? I am very excited for her but very nervous at the same time. On the 20th her school did a graduation for the 6th graders. It was very well done, it was short and sweet. There was a few songs, a few speeches, then they called all the kids names to recieve their diplomas. Haylie was so cute it was so fun to watch her. Congratulations sweetheart! I am very proud of you!

Proud Momma!

The last day of school is always a fun day for kids. I am very excited for the kids to be home this summer (i know, weird) but I am. So to the Proud momma part of my post, Morgan brought me home a suprise today. From the Utah State Board of Education she brought home a certificate that said that in the end of the year state tests her scores in social studies, science and total composite were in the top 10% in the nation. I am so excited for her and had to take a minute to brag. So Good Job Morgan! I am so proud of you and love you very much!!

Tired Woman

I decided to do one more quick post. My paige is the kind of kid that besides her car seat only likes to sleep in her bed. It is great when we are home but out anywhere and she needs a nap or it can be difficult. The other day she woke up onery. I know that she has been teathing so I have been giving her stuff to numb her gums, whatever we think will help. Anyways this one day she was so mad, and she acted so tried, but I thought no way because she had only been awake for a little while. She grabed her binkie and her blanket and left the room I heard her playing then all the sudden it was scilent. Obviously thinking that she was coloring on the walls or finger painting with spaghetti sauce I ran to find her and this is what I saw. Sweet Paige, asleep on the floor. She slept for another 2 hours when I put her up in her bed. Now I know the signals even if its not her nap time. When she brings me her blanket and has her binkies she wants to go to bed. What a silly girl!

At it again!

So as my sweet cousion so nicely pointed out I have been a blogging slacker. Nothing exciting happened for a while so I felt like I had nothing to post. The past week we have had some exciting things go on so I will be posting them soon but for now I think this picture tells all. I have the 2 cutest people in the world that follow me around all day eager to help me get things done. When I think that they are both playing or interested in a movie this is what is actually going on. It is honestly hilarious when you really think about it but, when you are in another room cleaning and you think you have the front foom crossed off your list and you see this. Not so funny. Some days I feel like I am running in circles trying to get things done and everytime I turn around one of my cute little peeps has done something, so funny, but such a pain to stop and pick up and I feel like I am starting over again. I know all mothers feel this way but this past month I think my kids have really upped their mess making by at least 76%. I have been in the middle of a few projects of my own (I will show later) that have been a little messy as well so that has made things a little extra cluttered so some of the mess I admit it mine. So what I am trying to say is that I wanted to have things organized by the time summer came so cleaning and getting ready to go do stuff would take an hour instead of all day. Besides our move which I dont know when or where that will be I wanted to be able to relax and do fun stuff with the kids instead of spending everyday catching up. I have 3 days until the kids are out for the summer. So if anyone knows a good maid service, just kidding but would'nt that be nice. So with all my fellow bloggers as witnesses I will be sitting in a spotless house by the end of the week no matter what it takes. I promise to be a better blogger I do have some things to post. Maybe this house overhaul will make for some interesting pictures, So til next time.

"The interest of two thousand pounds- how can a man live on it! and when to that is added the recollection that he might, but for his own folly, within three months have been in the receipt of two thousand five hundred a year (for Miss Morton has thirty thousand pounds), I cannot picture to myself a more wretched condition."

Seriously, that had to be the longest sentance I've ever seen. Maybe I only noticed because I had to type it.

Hershey Track Meet

Tue and Today the girls had their track meets. Morgan won the 50 in her first race and was really excited. Haylie did great I only saw her first race because it was freezing and I had Drew with me and he was crying because it was so cold. We had to leave early. Morgan cant wait for next year.
